2nd Grade- Mrs. Hopkins

Mrs. Hopkins’ 2nd grade class has been focusing on letter writing this month. We wrote to our guest reader, Mrs. McComsey, after she read a book about fancy words. She challenged us to use the words in our writing and we did an awesome job! We also wrote letters to Jack Hartmann to let him know how much we love learning with his cool brain break videos. We are hoping he writes back soon. This week it was very exciting to write letters to our parents to let them know all about 2nd grade at conferences. Next, we will be writing to Helen Lester, an author in our reading series. Letter writing has been so fun!
