This summer, when your child needs a new book to read, stop by Bancroft Elementary School and look for
the miniature Bancroft building. This sharing library is open year round and is free to the Bancroft Elementary School community, the Kennett Square area, and beyond! Built by two parents, students can open the roof and select a book to read. Bancroft Elementary School’s PTO, headed by Mrs. Yvonne Shortlidge, will keep the compact lending library stocked with books throughout the summer months so students will always have a new book to read. Patrons are encouraged to register in the guest sign in book and write a book recommendation.
